LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to remove name of Ali Moosa Gillani son of former Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani from Exit Control List (ECL) in ephedrine case.
According to media reports Interior ministry had placed name of Ali MoosaGillani in ECL in ephedrine case. A single bench of LHC led by Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza on Monday directed the interior ministry to remove name of Ali Moosa Gillani from ECL.
The petitioner took the plea in the court that Ali Moosa Gillani name is included in ECL since the last 4 years. Interior ministry has placed his name in ECL which is illegal and unconstitutional.
