LAHORE: Reacting to the outburst on his trip to Dubai, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, on Saturday, said that he could afford a 24-hour trip to Dubai on a personal visit as the ‘rat’ was holed up in Bani Gala, a private news channel reported.
Khawaja Asif termed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan as a ‘rat’ in a tweet, saying that since the PTI chief was hiding in Bani Gala and his claims of one million supporters coming to Islamabad had been proven false and with the keyboard warriors on the run, he could easily afford a 24-hour trip to Dubai.
It was reported that the minister had left for Dubai to attend a wedding and would be back by tomorrow.
Khan has stated on Twitter that Nawaz Sharif’s government was falling apart as one minister was sacked and the other, Khawaja Asif, has fled to Dubai. The rest of the ministers have started trembling, claimed Khan.
However, the Defence Minister announced that he left for Dubai for a wedding ceremony and will to return tomorrow.
