KHUSHAB: Commander of a proscribed outfit has been shot dead during a police operation here.
According to media reports, on a tip-off police conducted an operation here and gunned down commander of a banned outfit while his two accomplices escaped from the scene. The commander killed in the operation was identified as Younus who was also stated to be involved in killing of a police official. Arms and suicide jackets were recovered by police from possession of dead commander.
The terrorists had evolved plan to commit subversive activities in the city during holy month of Ramadan.
